This is a quick look at some of the motorsports activities I have done while living in Japan

Driving on track is always fun and enjoyable.  Whenever there is a chance to drive on the race track, I find it hard to say no.  I have a very close friend whom I met many years ago.  After he finished his MA degree he went back to Japan.  Years later we are together again and this time we have having fun doing time trial togther.

So far I participated in two time trial events.  If you are a fan or have watched any Option or Hot Version videos, you may have seen Nikko Circuit.  I was fortunate to have run at Nikko and Mobara circuits.  Both circuits provide enough challenge and fun.  After all racing is fun.  Most of my track experience prior to coming to Japan was mostly at Thunder Hill, Mazda Raceway, Laguna Seca and Infineoon Raceway (aka Sears Point).  I was used to the wide and spacious tracks.  Mobara circuit was by far the tightest circuit I have run on.  The track width was wide according to FIA specs, but the runoff room was little to zero.  Nikko was a much better track, and I also enjoyed that event because I was given a chance to drive Seiji's AE86 Trueno.

I finally made it to a kart racing facitlity in Japan.  Since I moved here, I wanted to get involved into some form of kart racing.  My orignal goal was to join an arrive and drive league.  I like motorsports competition since competition can drive you to perform at a higher level.  One day, my friends called me and said that they were planning on going to a kart track.  I gladly accepted and I was delighted and I had a great time.  Still, up to now I have not joined an arrive a drive league.
